Anssi Niemi is a Helsinki-based actor who graduated from the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts in Helsinki in 2021. Since then, he has worked extensively in theatre, performing at venues such as Q-teatteri, Ryhmäteatteri, Teatteri Jurkka, the Finnish National Theatre, and Teatteri Takomo. Alongside institutional work, Niemi develops his own performances. His latest solo piece, Straight Acting, premiered at Viirus Theatre in 2023 and toured across Finland in 2024–2025. In addition to theatre, he has appeared in film and television series, including Sekasin (2016–2021), Tonttuakatemia 2 (2025), and Atlantis Pasila (2026).
